I owned this calculator already fifteen years ago. Already at thea
time, I was fascinated by its variety of functions, its red glimmering
LED display and the inner construction (chips were only pressed and not
soldered onto a flexible printed circuit board). Unfortunately, it
shared the same destiny as many other devices, I owned at that time -
I explored it a bit too deep and at the end, there was nothing reusable
left. Such a pity.
Many years later, a friend of mine donated me two HP calculators,
which were discoverd in his firm and nobody had a use for them. One of
these two calculators was the HP 32E, the other onw the HP 34C, described
below. I was really happy to have the HP 32E back again in my collection.
