Description
The AS 1001 shown here was in that 7-jewel version a movement, which was made probably
for the export into the USA. The import code "WXW" was used by Westfield.
The bearings are not made of synthetic rubis, but by metal bushings. Only
the balance staff and the anchor pallets were left as synthetic rubis.
The rest of this movement is a classical constructed tiny ladies' watch movement,
which represented the technical state of the art of the thirties and fourties.
