|
Description
The AS 1951 is identical to the
AS/Standard 1941, with
the only difference, that its diameter is enhanced by one ligne. The rest is the same: Directly
driven center second hand, date indication with semi fast correction (realized by a gear with
click and spring at "7").
Visually, this movement is no longer a highlight, just as all other movements of the
seventies, but technically it is (except the fragile date mechanism which makes every
watchmaker sweat due to flying clicks and springs) very robust and reliable - just like
you're used to from AS.
