Description
"Duromat" - this sounding name was for many years a synonym für reliable selfwinding
movements made in Germany.
The caliber 7525 shown here was made in the early 70ies and therefor already belongs to latest
movement families, but still uses the "Duromat" inscription on the rotor. The later models
use a quarter-rotor, which is too small for any inscription.

The unidirectional winding Durowe 7525 beats with modern 21600 A/h and uses a three-leg
balance, which runs in two inhouse Duroswing shock protection systems. It drives a conventional
constructed pallet anchor movement with directly driven center second and center minute wheel.

On the dial side, there's a very modern, instantly switching date mechanism with quickset
mechanism by the mid crown position.
Of course, this movement has got a yoke winding mechanism - a further detail of that very well
constructed Durowe caliber.
