Description
Ebauches Bettlach was always a producer of pin lever movements. Many of them were rather simple, but some, like this caliber 1553, were quite good. This movement reminds in its construction even of good pallet anchor lever movements of that time. It contains a KIF-Protechock shock protections system, a long regulator arm and deck jewels for the gears to reach the number of seventeen jewels. Even the rocking bar winding mechanism on the dial side looks better than on many other pin lever movements
