Description

The Felsa 22 with a diameter of only 6 lignes (13.55mm) belongs to the tinyiest movements ever made in large quantities. And unlike other compareable small movements like the ETA 2442 it is constructed in the old-fashion way with a directly driven minute hand and hence only a very small screw balance.

The nice design with angled plates, you can estimate its high quality

This movement was available with and without Incabloc shock protection system. It was was available in versions with and without long regulator arm.

The size of this movement was so small, that the minute wheel reached below the balance cock and so could only be removed after the balance cock was put away.

Escapement wheel and the bearing of the fourth wheel also overlapped, but this construction was very popular on small ladies' form movements. On round movements, this is pretty rare.

The golden toned Glucydur screw balance is so small, that it beats with faster 21600 A/h. This combination is a very rare one!

On the dial side, you see besides the yoke winding system a very interesting type of the Incabloc shock protection. It reminds of a cap jewel holder, and its bearings are very flat.
