Description
One of the earliest movements by Förster is the caliber 106 with a diameter
of 8 1/2 lignes (officially measured 8 3/4'''), which was used in ladies'
watches and features a cylinder escapement.
The non-shock protected balance is beared in four jewels, the cylinder escapement
wheel in two and the rest of the gears runs in metal bearings.
On the dial side, you see the familiar rocking bar winding mechanism. Here, the
click spring directly works on the mainspring barrel wheel, so, there's no click.
