Förster 2075

Description

Förster produced in the mid of the last century several shaped movements with anchor escapement (expensive) but rocker winding mechanism (cheap). The caliber 2075 was one of the early ones. It uses a large mainspring barrel, which can be exchanged easily.

This movement with screw balance is made without shock protection. The misplaced cap jewel of the balance plate is no optical illusion, it is really not centered, but that does not bother the movement at all.

An older version of this movement was produced with 7 jewels.
