The ring balance is beared in two KIF Trior shock protection bearings (only on the movement side with a jewel) and beats with 36000 A/h. It controls a pin lever movement, where, unlike on standard pin lever movements, the fourth wheel is not driven by the escapement wheel, but by another wheel inbetween. Additionally, the fourth wheel with its center second hand makes two full revolutions per minute.

On the dial side, there’s a slotted lever shift, which is responsible for starting and stopping and another one for the resetting of the hands. On start/stop, the balance wheel is moved, so that a reliable start is guaranteed.
