Kienzle 51/0b

Description

That Kienzle movement seems to be pretty old. It still carries the old Kienzle sign and on the dial, that was attached to it, its origin country was named “foreign”, which refers to the 40ies or 50ies.

The movement is as most other Kienzle movements a simple pin lever movement with no jewels, no shock protection and rocker winding mechanism. As always, the mainspring barrel can be exchanged easily.

On the pro side, there are details like a long hairspring regulator or brass bearings. They are responsible for the movement still running fine after half a century.
