Citizen 6651A

Description

The Citizen 6651A is the last ladies' selfwindig movement from Citizen. It is still made until today by Miyota under the code 6T51 and is used in the current ladies' automatics. Unlike the mens' movement caliber 8203, the balance on the 6651A / 6T51 beats with 28800 beats per hours and thus the movement achieves good precision.

As all modern Citizen automatics, the ball beared rotor winds the movement only in one direction, clockwise. This has been proven as the most efficient winding way.

The caliber 6651A can be wound manually. In the second crown position, the time and weekday (bilingual) can be adjusted and in the outmost position, the date can be advanced by one.
